Prolonged bleeding after depo provera?

i got the depo prevera in feb of 2011 and was supposed to renew it in may of 2011, since i was having prolonged bleeding i didnt want to.. my bleeding started in april 2011 and is still going on today. what could this be? im scared, and cant go to the doctor cause im afraid to tell my mom, im only 18..
