2003 Mitsubishi Galant stops while on brake!!! HELP?

My 2003 Mitsubishi Galant at first just "jerked" a little when at a stop light or stop sign but now i cant even press on the brake for a prolonged time before it shuts off. I have replaced spark plugs , battery and throttle body. Any suggestions
