Do manners and morals make society more dangerous?

Not really...A child is incapable of raising themselves, let alone looking after themselves. Not all desires should be act upon, desire can be selfish. A society should follow ethics not morals and manners. Manners have nothing to do with common sense and treating people kindly and equally. Morals are religious, and we've all seen the ill that, that produces...sexism, homophobia, manifest destiny, genocide. Manners are a bourgeois concept. But the most dangerous thing is when people believe to know whats best, and begin to BAN things that are personal choices, bc your barking up the same tree.
