Question on working out to guys.?

ok i am 16 years old 6 ft 3 in and i weigh between 150-160 what would you recommend to me for working out? and what you recommend how often and much should i do it. because i have done the perfect pushups routine was doing over 100 a day or more idk and i was doing situps with them normal pushups as well just about anything that i could do at home. i was also doing weights but htey were only 8 pounds so they weren't really a challenge i just did 200 each and i don't have that kind of time i just need something that is going to help me and not waste my time so working out seemed to be what popped in my head. plz tell me if you guys have any advice on what i should be doing or what i'm doing wrong by the way all those pushups and stuff didn't help at all really.
